Top tier coffee mug. Better than Contigo
The 24 ounce Zojirushi SM-VA72-AD is a solid coffee mug I can take with me when I am on the road.It keeps my coffee hot all day. No exaggeration.By far, the best mug I have ever used for heat retention. Once, I forgot to empty it so it had some coffee in it from the day before. It was still warm.It doesn’t leak at all. It is easy to drink from. It fits in all the cup holders in every car I have been in.It’s easy enough to open and close. It fits in my hand easy enough and it is light.It is reasonably easy to clean the mug and the lid. In my opinion, easier than Contigo.After several months of daily use it seems durable. Everything still works.It is better than Contigo by most metrics, especially the lids. When my Contigo lid goes bad, I can’t buy a replacement lid. I have five Contigo mugs without a lid because they eventually crack or otherwise fail. Contigo doesn’t sell or provide replacement lids. I am done with Contigo as a result.Zojirushi sells replacement lids. That’s a big plus in my book. Not that I have needed to replace a lid yet.My only concern is that the lid is made of plastic. I don’t like consuming anything with plastic, especially hot beverages. But this seems to be the case for all comparable products, unfortunately.Also worth noting, I purchased the mug advertised as navy blue. The mug I received is black. Only the lid is navy blue. That is misleading in my opinion if that is by design. It could be a mistake on their part? I didn’t care enough to do anything about it! It is something to be aware of if case it matters.The mug’s box says it is made in Thailand.Recommend!

I enjoy this water bottle so much that I bought it in 3 sizes. It doesn’t leak, keeps beverages cold all day, has a one hand flip lid, it’s lightweight, and easy to clean. Perfect.

Literally the best water bottle on the planet. I’ve been using this every single day since I bought it and it’s a life changer.Keeps water cold for over 24 hours, fits in every cup holder I’ve tried, has a lid lock that allows you to toss it in a bag. It’s also very nice to drink out of and is super easy to clean.I’ve purchased it three times now to give out as gifts. It really is the greatest water bottle ever made. I will never buy any other bottle than this one.

I bought both WHITE, & NAVY colored versions of this bottle….one caveat…
I purchased these for my wife and I for Christmas (I got the Navy one), seeing as our old tumblers were about 8 years old.We both are impressed with the thoughtful design & build quality. Cold water stays cold all day in these. The drinking stopper is brilliantly designed so as to not spill when you’re drinking from it, unlike other brands. Impressive. For motoring, they Fit consoles in a 1994 S10 and 2006 Altima perfectly and stay put. I’m glad I did some serious shopping before purchasing instead of getting sucked-in to other overpriced options whose name I will not mention.It stays cold! But that stopper has one negative issue that I’m NOT happy with. One day I poured hot coffee in the bottle, took a drink or two, and then headed to town on some errands….forgetting the bottle. I only filled it to the level directed by the company, took a few drinks, put it down, and then later than day returned home (to still hot coffee)…. and washed the unit, but sadly the rubber stopper absorbed the coffee flavor. Nothing like drinking ice cold water that’s overshadowed with a coffee essence. Not my bag, YUCK. I know the company has some cleaner for these things….but seems to be unobtainable on Amazon. What I did was wash out the mug and stopped with some warm water and 7th gen dish detergent; but the stopper still smelled and tainted the fresh water.Next step was to rub the stopper with some white vinegar and, while not completely eradicated, the coffee essence is much subdued. maybe I’ll try soaking the stopper in white vinegar overnight. If the company is reading this I’d be happy for some assistance. The tumbler itself cleaned beautifully and does not whatsoever retain a coffee flavor & odor. Only the rubber(?) stopper mouth that’s removable for cleaning. If we can conquer this issue, I’d give it 5 solid stars. So far no leaks whatsoever. Zojirushi makes a fantastic product that only needs one adjustment as I’ve already outlined.

I am loving this thermal travel container! The cap closes securely with no leaks and it locks to avoid accidental opening of cap. My coffee stays very hot for at least 6 hours (probably longer, but I drink it within 6 hrs). It has a large capacity which supports my coffee addiction!! Although it was pricey, I am more than satisfied with the value. I have spent a toital of much more on Contigo mugs that fail due to the seal/washer always falling out and really do not keep the beverage hot, either.

I own a few insulated bottle & mugs like Stanley, YETI, Hydro Flask, etc, but this is so far the best and most practical water bottle! 1. It keeps hot/cold temperature well for a long time. 2. Easy to drink from bottle, and actually feels like drinking from a well ergonomic designed cup, no spill. 3. Easy to clean. It has 3 parts: bottle 1pc + 2pcs of lid. I think this is easier to clean than other brands I have. 4. It close and lock well, no more fear that it will leak or spill out. 5. Fits in car cup holder, 6. I can put in my purse 7. Looks sleek and nice color +texture (mine is white 24oz). Japanese designes product is always well thought, well design, good quality!

Después de cuatro meses de uso diario intensivo, puedo decir sin dudar que esta botella ha superado todas mis expectativas. La uso principalmente para beber agua fresca y ha cambiado por completo mis hábitos de hidratación: gracias a su capacidad de mantener la temperatura, me resulta mucho más fácil beber agua a lo largo del día.Retención térmica excepcional. Nunca había probado una botella que mantuviera el agua fresca durante tantas horas, incluso en un clima cálido como el de España. Literalmente, relleno la botella por la mañana y sigue fresca por la tarde. En este aspecto no tiene comparación con otras marcas que he usado antes (Contigo, Aladdin, etc.).Diseño funcional y cómodo. El acabado en acero es suave al tacto y transmite calidad desde el primer momento. A pesar de tener una capacidad generosa de 828 ml (lo cual se nota al cargarla en la mochila), su forma sigue siendo ergonómica. Puede que resulte algo ancha para manos pequeñas, pero en mi caso (con manos grandes) no supone un inconveniente. El sistema de bloqueo en la tapa evita aperturas accidentales, lo cual es un detalle muy bien pensado.Materiales de alta calidad. El cuerpo de acero inoxidable se siente robusto y duradero, mientras que la tapa de plástico está muy bien construida: sin rebordes molestos, ni piezas que parezcan frágiles. Todo encaja con precisión y se nota que es un producto diseñado para durar.Fácil mantenimiento. La boquilla y tapa se desmontan en tres partes, lo que facilita mucho la limpieza. Aunque yo prefiero lavarla a mano por precaución, el acceso al interior es amplio y cómodo tanto para limpiar como para rellenar.¿Aspectos a considerar? El precio puede parecer elevado si se compara con otras botellas térmicas, especialmente fuera de Japón, pero en mi opinión la inversión merece totalmente la pena. Es una botella definitiva, de esas que compras una vez y no necesitas reemplazar.Detalles que marcan la diferencia. El sistema de apertura, que se activa al soltar el botón y no al presionarlo, añade una sensación curiosamente satisfactoria, similar a abrir un encendedor Zippo. No es esencial, pero demuestra el nivel de atención al detalle que ha puesto la marca en este producto.Conclusión:Si estás buscando una botella térmica de gran capacidad, con excelente retención térmica, materiales premium y un diseño práctico, la Zojirushi SM-VS83BA es una de las mejores opciones disponibles.
