Customers say
Customers find these shoes comfortable, with a nimble feel on their feet. They fit well for extra wide feet and have a roomy toe box. The style is nice and minimalist, though some find them looks like baby shoes. Many customers appreciate the quality, value for money, and lightweight design. However, opinions differ on material thickness and slip resistance.

Great Fit, Comfy
Love these high tops. I wear them everywhere. They are really comfy and have worn really well, kept their color and shape and clean up nicely. I plan on getting them and several other colors!

Love!
Love these shoes, they’re so comfortable, durable, and affordable. They’re lightweight with a perfect wide toe box, yet still have good traction on the bottom and hold up well to everyday wear

Barefoot hikers
I absolutely love these shoes! They cause no footpain at all. The fit is perfect. I did have to replace the laces as I prefer bungee type with toggle. Great value for money. I love my other regular barefoot hikers so I bought these for more sturdy ankle support. My only suggestion to manufacturers of these wonderful shoes would be to consider adding ankle support style, and better toe protection, to the mesh shoes for those of us who live in hot countries, most choices were padded for warmth.

Great…just not for me
Man, I wanted to love these so much! They look fabulous. Definitely have the zero drop, barefoot with a little cushioning feel, with the wide toe box. They weren’t overly large in the toe box, meaning they definitely don’t look like clown shoes at all. They are very stylish and look like comfortable Vans, just without the pinched toes. But, there is a canvas reinforced toe area that, with and without socks, caught my big toenail every step. I appreciate the idea of the reinforcement, so toes don’t poke through as quickly, But if that hadn’t been there, I would have replaced the insole with my NorthSoles and would have loved them for as long as they lasted! The quality was quite good and the sizing was accurate. That’s the only flaw I couldn’t get around, and sadly had to return them and continue my search. If that’s not something that would bother you, you’ll probably love them!

Pretty and comfortable.
Received quickly. Light pink color exactly as pictured. Shoe very comfortable, flexible, and lightweight. I ordered a Women’s size 9 in regular width. I normally wear a Women’s 9 Wide. These shoes fit great, plenty wide for both feet. I’m very glad I purchased them.

Stylish, inexpensive sneaker after a few modifications.
I like this shoe for a inexpensive barefoot-style casual sneaker. It looks stylish and is decently wide around the toes but it requires a few modifications. I ordered the largest womens size (42) and it seemed a little small so I removed the insole to get more toe room. That made a big difference. Turns out the heel cup was taking up a lot of space. The laces needed to be replaced as well. They are very cheap and slightly stretchy. Quality cotton laces make the shoes look and feel nicer. The color bleeds onto the laces just by rubbing against them so that’s an issue also.

Great for people who don’t like to wear shoes
These are awesome! They look a lot like Vans, but are sooo comfortable. I hate wearing shoes when I workout, but at my gym I have to. Truly these shoes feel like you’re not wearing anything. They’re fantastic for weightlifting as well. Normally with high tops I have to unlace the top for more ankle mobility, but these are so maluable I didn’t have to do a thing! And best of all they’re actually cute, best “barefoot” shoes I’ve come across to date. I actually forgot I was wearing shoes at one point. I can’t speak to the longevity of them yet, but I have high hopes!

Easy to wear. Consider sizing up.
Decent material, lightweight, so-so on fit, but easy to wear, color was exactly what I was looking for, and priced right. I would suggest sizing up.

Comfortable, nice quality shoes. I love the wide toe box! This is the second set of shoes I have made by WHITIN and the first being my favourite pair to wear. These are equally as wonderful.I would recommend these to anyone, especially if they have wider feet

I love these purple Whitin High tops. Very comfortable, like wearing nothing and I really didn’t want to take them off the first time I wore them. So comfy & light.

I really like these shoes – they’re comfortable and fit really well. They take a bit of getting used to because they feel lighter than regular shoes, but once you adjust they’re great. My only issue is that they’re not super practical for anything beyond walking on paved surfaces, and have a few safety concerns. The grips on the bottoms are terrible on anything other than pavement, and I’ve slipped a few times on other surfaces. Today I was walking some dogs for a client and hand to step on the grass to give them space from another passing dog, and my shoes slipped and I ended up spraining my ankle and fell to the ground, which is not ideal when trying to control two large dogs. They also make a super loud squeaking noise when you walk on tile/linoleum type flooring which is annoying.I’ll definitely wear them until they fall apart, but it would take some serious redesign of the gripping on the bottom for me to even consider buying them again.

I was hoping these shoes work out and I actually really like them. They are light, soft, roomy, not too hot and comfortable. Nothing rubs or needs breaking in.Quality seems good, the canvas is quite thick and sturdy I think they’ll last well. I sprayed them with Nikwax to weatherproof them a bit and replaced the laces with elastic ties to make them quick on and off. I got them in all black but might consider an sei c pair in another colour for spring/summer.

I’m a size 7.5 in ‘normal’ shoes and ended up ordering a size 9wide (8.5wide was sold out) it’s a touch big but size 8 was too small and also shrank almost a centimetre in length when I put them in the dryer.I’m new to barefoot shoes n recently learned this is common for barefoot shoes to shrink when applying heat to them, that includes exposing our feet to hot asphalt. My other size 8 Whitins are a smidge too small. Not because my toes touch but sometime they kinda do when walking. Anyway I’ll share a pic of the 3 compared. Sizes don’t seem too different but they’re all different Whitins. The shoe without laces is the one I’m reviewing. I just drew all over them. They’re super wide in the toe. The fabric bunches a bit on top which is why I drew on them (to hide the weird wrinkle. Either way. Comfy enough I got 2.
