The EASIEST Indian Vegan Recipe Book To Follow *For ABSOLUTE Beginners*
Hi, I’m Neelam, the author of Veganbell’s Indian Vegan Cookbook. I published this book with 3 things in mind.
It has to include all the mainstream Indian dishes: From Garlic Naan to Pyaaz Pakoda, from Aloo Gobi to Gulab Jamun, I have tried my best to include a diverse array of veganized Indian recipes ranging from grains, dals, curries, breads, desserts, soups, and more!
The recipes should be easy to follow: Indian cooking isn’t exactly ‘set and forget’. You need to be very present during the cooking process. This is why I have divided most recipes into steps and substeps so you can follow them with ease. The fonts are bold, large, and legible.
It needs to be informative: I have fortified the book with a ton of helpful tips, kitchen recommendations, beautiful images, and nutritional charts.
If you liked what you read, please consider ordering a copy. This cookbook also makes an excellent birthday/gift idea for your loved ones.

The perfect cookbook for home cooks!
This was a great find. I’ve always wanted to prepare home-made, plant-based Indian dishes for my family and this book helped me achieve just that. From the introduction of essential Indian spices & kitchen tools…to the amount of details presented to make each dish is much appreciated. I love how the author breaks down a ‘difficult’ recipe into multiple steps and sub-steps. It’s perfect for newbie home cooks like myself who, otherwise, would only have to rely on restaurants to enjoy Dosa and Sambar….well, no more! :)I also appreciate the formatting of the book. 98% of all the recipes are on a single page which means no flipping the pages while cooking. I hate having to remember every instruction, so I admire the larger than normal fonts used in the book…I can just rest it inclined on my counter and get chopping. Nutritional breakdowns are also included so I know how many calories are in my Garlic Naan. All in all, this is a great cookbook and definitely deserves 5 stars. Happy to see so many vegan milks, meat-alternatives, and cookbooks coming out in the market.Attached are the snaps of few of the recipes that I tried from the book and all of them turned out amazing.Happy Cooking Folks! 🙂

One of my Go To cookbooks
I love Indian food, and love cooking it (and I mean the actual process of cooking it). This is one of my favorite cookbooks of all – tons of great recipes, well written with clear instructions, and I especially appreciate the fact that nutritional content is included, as well as estimated prep/cook times. The vast majority of ingredients should be available to most everyone, although there are some ingredients that you will probably need to find at an Indian (or Asian) grocer… fortunately I have access to more than a half dozen such grocers so the ingredients are all readily available to me. If you like Indian cuisine, you will appreciate the authentic recipes included. Hope this helps!

The best vegetarian cook book out there
Get this cool book now! After successfully cooking almost one- third of the recipes in this cookbook , I must say, this is an absolute Gem.There are stunning images for almost all recipes. I’m new to Indian cooking and it’s important for me to know what the final dish is supposed to look like. The book definitely helps with that. The recipes themselves are beautifully diversified- you can get the perfect number of curries, dals, desserts, grains, even chutneys!I was pleasantly surprised by the use of large bold fonts. I use a cookbook stand on my counter and having big print means I wont have to lean over.Nutrition value for each recipe is also a nice touch. I personally don’t use it often, but I understand why people need it.Dal makhani has been an absolute favorite in my family which we serve with jeera rice . Garlic naan and soy chunk curry are incredible as well.100% recommended people buy this little gem. It’s beautifully written and is perfect for noobies like myself who want to learn and try vegan Indian dishes

The formatting is perfect – large print, images for almost every recipe, and there is nutritional information for every dish. The varieties of dals and curries are very much welcome. I wasn’t expecting much recipes in the dessert section but was surprised to see them there. All in all, this was a great find!!! 👍

Really great cookbook!
I really love all the recipes in this cookbook. I grew up eating my mom’s indian cooking and missed a lot of my favorite recipes since becoming vegan. This book allowed me to make and enjoy some of my favorite foods without the dairy. Everything I’ve made so far tastes fantastic!

Great book! just the right amount of recipes and most with color photos. The pressure cookers makes for a lot of curries to be one pot meals- which I like. The dal makhani, is as good as my local Indian restaurant. The soy chunk curry is another fave. Easy recipes and very budget friendly! Look forward to cooking more from this book.
