This is the BEST Chocolate I’ve ever had in my life!! No Joke
My gosh. My GOSHHHH THIS chocolate is tantalizing!! Absolutely irresistible. I got the 78% Cacao Intense experience, and I am HOOKED.It is dark. As chocolate should be in my opinion. So if you’re someone who puts sugar in their coffee, this might be a little dark for your liking.It has a deep and complex flavor that I can’t even put into words. I’ve never had chocolate even remotely this good before. I’m certainly no culinary expert, but I am a specialty coffee enthusiast – And this chocolate reminds me of that sort of world. A true work of art.Besides the product itself, the packaging is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!! A true graphic art masterpiece. I honestly don’t even want to throw the box away when it runs out! It presents very well and feels super luxurious. Perfect as a gift for someone with an exquisite palate.I just might be a super-fan of this company now. If they read this review, then I just want to say WELL DONE!! And thanks for bringing your incredible chocolate to the marketplace so I could experience it 🙂

Some of the best tasting chocolate I have ever eaten
Seriously some of the best tasting chocolate I have ever eaten and I am a retired professional chef. And I have had a lot of chocolate in my life. I even toured some chocolate factories when they first came to the United States.I researched chocolate for this health benefits. And I came across this chocolate. I was skeptical of the taste because of the fact that it has such a high cocoa count. And it has a tendency to be strong bitter and chalky. However with this brand it is smooth silky and easy to eat. No chalkiness whatsoever. Even though some of the higher percentage chocolate had a bitterness to it. It was extremely pleasant and not off-putting at all. The ginger chocolate is absolutely delightful. I saw reviews where they said that it was very strong and off-putting. I am a severe ginger fanatic. I found the ginger to be subtle and unassuming. But extremely pleasant. There are no weird aftertaste bitterness or chalkiness left behind whatsoever. My 13-year-old granddaughter who despises dark chocolate of any kind. Ask to try it I gave her the aroma chocolate bar and her eyes lit up and she said it was absolutely wonderful. And trying to please a teenager please. That’s an accomplishment within itself. I absolutely love this chocolate and I will be buying it again and again and again. It was packed in a box with ice packets to keep it cool. It arrived in over 95° heat. And was not melted or altered in any way. The box and the packaging is beautiful. And I look forward to my next order

I love really dark, intense chocolate but the flavor of these are awful.

Revised Review—Outstanding Customer Service
I wrote a negative review because of the age of the chocolate I received, just a few weeks before the use by date. U Chocolate contacted me and offered to make it up to me.They wrote: “we deeply apologize for the condition in which the product arrived. At U Chocolate, we take immense pride in delivering high-quality products, and it truly pains us to know we fell short in this instance. Please know that we are taking steps to ensure such issues don’t happen again. We genuinely appreciate your patience and understanding. It means a lot to us that you recognize our commitment to customer service, and we hope to regain your trust in the future.”I think that shows a lot of integrity and willingness to stand behind their product. I will try them again.

TEXTURE: incredibly smooth. I think that’s the most impressive feature. I’ve never been a big fan of dark chocolate, because to me it’s hard, whereas milk chocolate is smooth. But this chocolate, although very dark, is smooth and creamy. I don’t know how they do it. It has a buttery mouth feel that’s just amazing.TASTE: it is very, very strong. I mean big time. LOL. As in, whereas I can typically eat a lot of chocolate, with this stuff, I break off 1/4 of the bar and I’m done. Wrap it up, and put it back in the drawer, because at that point, I’ve had my fix!If you like things that are very sweet, you might not like this. That said, I am typically a milk chocolate person, and I bought this purely for health reasons, not expecting to like it at all, and I love it.To put the taste in context, if you like strong black coffee with nothing in it (which I do), you’ll probably love this. Think Black Forest cake made with little to no sugar, and that’s about what this tastes like.I’m disappointed that the ingredients aren’t published here, but they ARE published on the packaging. And it’s an impressive 2 ingredients: cacao, and coconut blossom sugar (I never knew there was such a thing!).The biggest wow for me, besides the creaminess, is that these bars are vegan, gluten free, certified organic, and made with only 2 ingredients. Add to that the fact that it’s fair trade. And made with tons of flavanols. I’m really impressed. I’ll definitely order again, and plan to incorporate a piece of this into my daily diet.
