    A work in progress
I have made 3 different recipes so far. All did not rise enough prior to baking so a dense loaf. However, they were very tasty and I will try again by tweaking the recipe for my machine.

The jury is still out on this one…
I bought this especially for the gluten free vegan recipes. The loaves did not rise properly and they were a gooey and dense loaves that I could not salvage. I notice that a lot of the GF recipes do not include a little added sugar for the yeast to feed on, like normal bread recipes, and I was wondering why. I will try remaking them adding sugar and a pinch of salt and see if that helps any. Also a new ingredient for me was using Aquafaba in the ‘Hearty Multigrain GF Bread’ to replace eggs. I might try using ‘flax eggs’ instead. Hopefully some of the recipes will be edible. I had high hopes for this book.

    Worth Exploring
Introduction was casual and fun to read. Each chapter had a description to give you more information. I tried the English Muffin Bread recipe. It was a little shaggy when kneading, but a little more flour fixed that. The loaf was very tasty with the proper nooks and crannies! The photographs are educational both in how the crusts should look and in shaping the bread if you are not baking it in the bread machine. Recommending to my friends and family who like to bake. I will be trying many more of these recipes to find just the right ones for the upcoming holidays.I received a complimentary ARC of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
