After almost 20 years in the health industry, I would not recommend this be followed for more than 30 days without the supervision of a medical professional to ensure your individual health needs are being met. BUT if you are looking for a way to jumpstart a healthier lifestyle, this book is an excellent resource to get things started and build your understanding of the body and its responses to food.

Terms like tamarind juice and quinoa porridge were new to me. I’m also unsure about the availability of some items at my local grocery store.
