Simple. Stylish. Sliding. Increase your SlideBelts variety with an extra belt strap. What is a SlideBelts brand ratchet belt? It’s a belt that lets you freely adjust your belt size without the limitation of holes. In fact, there are no holes at all! A tab in the buckle catches on a row of notches sewn onto the underside of the strap, allowing for over 30 size options with 1/4″ (6.35 mm) between adjustments. All SlideBelts belt straps can be trimmed to your exact waist size. The full length of one of our straps fits a 48″ waist size. Compatible with all Standard-Width (1.25″) SlideBelts belt buckles. A Must Have!
This belt system is awesome. Gone are the worn out holes, wishing you had a hole between holes and the creases/cracks across the belt where your favorite hole is located. And the ability to make adjustments to your belt with minimal effort and obscurity at the dinner table. Love how I can loosen it with a couple effortless clicks when I’m sitting down and a quick tug on the end to tighten when I stand up. No one is any the wiser. Also like how I can mix and match my belts and buckles with ease. Slowly replacing all my belts with holes. Great quality and holding up so far.

Keep your pants on with this awesome belt.
Totally love these belts, own four of them now. There does seem to be a difference in the degrees of quality in the actual belts, the premium ones hold up much much better though are substantially more expensive. The cheaper grades look good but if you like to wear your belt tight like I do, they do not hold up as well as the higher graded belts, especially around the clamp that attaches the belt to the buckle. If slidebelt made the clamp a little longer that might extend the life span of the belt. I love the buckles, look great with jeans, and dress pants. I like the fun buckles like the flag design. Much like a fun pair of colorful socks without being too much of a peacock when you have to dress for business. Will not go back to a regular belt ever again.

Otherwise these are awesome and very attractive and study belts
I have to write a more detailed review, I’ve had four of these belts now for over a year sadly after a while the buckles just fall off inadvertently as the buckle grooves or grip in the belt loosens over time. SlideBelts needs to fix this flaw. I was once in public, adjusted my belts and off came my buckle! I’m very lucky my pants did not go sliding down! Otherwise these are awesome and very attractive and study belts. I love the ability to keep the buckle and simple change the belts once the leathers are worn.Update 2016I had to come back and add TWO more stars I think I was to stringent the first time. I do not think the buckle flaw has been fixed but a simple workaround is to leave a bit more length on your belt than needed maybe like an inch when you trim it initially and then when the clamp teeth holes wear out, simply cut off about 1/4″ and you are good to go for the next couple of months! My buckles are holding up fine and I still do very much like all my Slidebelts.

Good service
I have been using slide belts for about 3 years. I threw all my other belts in trash. I would never go back to any other kind of belt. After years of abuse as I am a maintenance man, the belt portion tore where the buckle dogs in. This is due to me squeezing into tight spots and belt takes a beating. Buckle was still good so ordered just the belt. Ordered, received a few days later, cut to fit and clamped it on buckle. Fast and easy. I have given these belts to friends as gifts and all of us won’t use anything else. Once you have one I don’t think you go back to regular belts. Others have tried the cheaper brands, but they don’t hold up, or work as smoothly. If you buy a belt and it last 3 years and cost $60.00, per year that’s a bargain, for this quality, good looks and mostly comfort, and ease of use. I ordered some to wear for casual wear, and when in suit and tie. They all look, and function great.

brilliant belt
I bought a belt and buckle from SlideBelt a little over a year ago. The buckle and mechanism is brilliant but the leather on the belt was thin and actually broke in two in about 6 months. There were several other places ready to break had the first place failed to properly brake. So then I ordered some other brand ratchet belt, which was inferior in every way. Now I have bought this fine belt to go with the brilliant buckle. This is clearly higher quality leather and is stamped with the SlikeBelt trade mark, which the first inferior belt was not. It’s not thin and flimsy like the first belt and it actually fits in the little jaws of the buckle. Even though the first belt was sold supposedly by SlideBelt, I rather suspect that someone bought some of the brilliant buckles and put them on inferior belts. If you had a bad experience with the belt, as I did, I recommend getting this one. This leather belt looks like it is going to last like a leather belt ought to.

Slidebelts are designed to fail
The slidebelt in concept is excellent. It really would be the perfect belt if they didn’t make it so dang cheaply. This is a product specifically designed to fail after its warranty period has elapsed. I am leaving this review now because I have effectively replaced my entire belt three times now at a total cost higher than if i had simply bought three individual slide belts and very much higher than had I simply bought a regular belt to begin with.I am now looking for a better brand; so long as it is less than 3 times the cost of a slide belt, it will be a better value. If you are shopping for a belt to replace a failed one, do not succumb to the sunk cost fallacy. The buckle you are holding is likely to fail during the life of your second belt. Just buy a better belt.1) All of the belts will eventually have their “teeth” fail due to fatigue at the narrow points between segments. This particular belt, the second such I have owned has failed in this way but the teeth haven’t fallen out yet so it still sort of works.2) All of the buckles will eventually fail due to the retaining pins falling out. The pins are pressure fit and only partially fluted. Any joint with motion wears down the flutes and allows the pins/rivets to fall out. Also the spring cannot be tensioned or replaced and this eventually fails too.3) This particular belt (faux leather) does not hold up to the attachment mechanism in the buckle as the material is not thick enough for the teeth to grip well. I know some people have been receiving fake/counterfeit products, but I have the real deal and it still sucks. It can be fixed by prying the cut end of the belt open and gluing in a small piece of thick fill fabric like muslin or burlap between the vinyl layers.
