The sweetheart neckline is very cute ! I didn’t love the bodice , something about it was just unflattering . Can’t quite put my finger on it , but I just didn’t care for it on me . The slit is also a nice touch ! Flowy bottom that hides a lot .

This dress is a beautiful dark green (photo of the back is best color representation) in a fabric that feels like elevated jersey or modal, but in fact is 100% polyester. It is well sewn. Not a loose thread in sight. It has slight stretch, but the smocking of the entire back is what does most of the work. The top front is lined all the way to the waist, so where the bodice meets the skirt, the elasticized waist is a bit bulky and not a slimming line at all. Think paper bag waist. The sleeves can be worn on or off the shoulder, and there is ample room for a large bust. The fluttery sleeves are cute, by the armholes are cut 2-3″ lower than they should be. Lift your arms at all and your bra will be on full display. This is inexcusable in a what is otherwise a modest dress. I am very petite, so I imagine it would be even worse on a tall woman.For size reference: I am 5’3″, 173lbs, 38G bra and a US 14 in pants and XL in tops. In dresses I can wear a 16-18 straight size or a 14W. I ordered an XL (1X) and I do think it was the right size for me to choose. There are just some design choices that make it unflattering and immodest. I will probable cut off some of the bottom sleeve to make a panel that covers my bra and take some darts in the front to reduce bulk.

I’m usually 3X (depends on company). Bra is 50C and I’m 5’4”. Very flattering design. Light weight material so you’re not dying for these summer weddings. I live in the FL so IFYKYK. Great fit. Slit starts at the knee so you’re not super slutty. Very comfy to wear. I don’t have broad shoulders so off the shoulder look works better for me. You could wear it either way though depending on you. Material feels great for summer. Sturdy but not heavy. Not see through either. Definitely recommend this.
