Love the size of this large tote and it does not transfer color like someone mentioned in the previous reviews. The only thing I wish is that it had a snap or something on the outside pocket.

Gorgeous leather bag!
Wow, you can smell and feel how high quality the leather is! It’s super well made. Not lined but very sturdy and structured. I appreciate the zipper too. I get compliments every time I wear this bag out and about. I highly recommend!

I love love love this bag! I have frequent doctor appointments and need to carry more than my wallet and phone. I have two pairs of glasses, a notebook and pens, plus as needed medicine and a book to read.I receive compliments on this bag every single time I go out! Warning on Black Portland Leather Goods Bags
I own several leather bags from Portland Leather Goods. The majority of them are absolutely wonderful. Stylish great staples for any wardrobe that I highly recommended.This review is to serve as a warning to the black bags. The color will transfer to any clothing that rubs against it and on objects you carry inside of it. I have wiped my PLG bag many times with a microfiber cloth and it continues to transfer. The color has also rubbed off on papers/folders, and lighter colored leather wallets that I carried inside that bag. Unfortunately, it was purchased during a final sale and could not be returned, so I only carry it when I am wearing black clothing or a black coat.Like I said, every other PLG bag I have is great, and I highly recommend them; I’ve purchased other colors as gifts for friends and family, and they absolutely love them – but I wanted to leave this review as a heads up to anyone interested in black, because it’s a hassle to deal with.Please note: on the PLG website, the color that transfers is called ‘smooth black’; there is another leather called ‘pebbled black’ they sell that has no transfer problems that I would recommend.

Very nice quality
My wife likes having multiple bags and totes for various uses. We live in Oregon and have a daughter in Portland who is familiar with this brand and the quality of their products. So, when my wife saw this, she had to add it to her collection. It is a tote, not a purse, but a very well made one that should last a long time. It is great for those occasions where you want something a little classier to hold the items you are carrying. It is just as described in the listing: simple, but stylish. The color and finish are beautiful and the large tote is a good size for general use. Highly recommended!

FIRM for sure! It can stand up on it’s own – beautiful coloring! 5 STAR QUALITY
Beautiful tote bag, genuine leather, this leather is definitely more FIRM in feel and touch, even though I knew and chose that firmness, it was still somehow a surprise when I received it, to realize it was ‘that firm’. This tote can stand on its own. It still has a box shape from shipping, but I feel this will go away with use. The color of both the bag and strap are absolutely beautiful. All around the quality is 5 STAR for sure! I am not the biggest fan of an unlined purse or tote, but in this case, I feel it’s appropriate and seems more durable than any lining could’ve been!
