Pretty in the Ad, but Runs Big and Looks Plain in Person
This dress looked so lovely in the ad, but it didn’t quite live up to my expectations once I tried it on. For starters, it runs large, especially in the waistline, which made the fit feel loose and shapeless on me. I think going down a size might help, but as is, it just didn’t flatter my body type.The off-the-shoulder style is definitely more flattering than wearing it on the shoulders—it gives it a softer, more feminine look. The rose color is pretty, but it’s much more muted in person than it appeared online. Instead of looking soft and romantic, it looked a bit dull and tired, almost like the dress had already been worn or faded.On me, the overall look felt a bit frumpy, but I do think with some effort it could be styled up. Adding a belt to define the waist, along with some accessories, might bring it to life and make it more flattering. The fabric was okay—not the softest, but not uncomfortable—and the dress is easy to slip on, which I appreciated.In the end, it’s decent for the price, especially if you’re willing to add your own styling touches, but don’t expect it to look exactly like the photos. For me, it felt a bit too plain and ordinary to wear as-is.

Great wearing dress.
This item is really flattering. I wanted to wait until I had worn and washed it before making a review and I’m glad to say that both wearing and washing went very well. Sometimes things look great the first time but after a wash the color fades or the item pills. Neither is true with this. The slit is a nice touch and it is a really well fitting dress. True to size and the color is amazing. The dress was comfortable for all day, flowy, and seemed to stand up to repeatedly sitting and standing without wrinkling or looking rumpled.

I ordered two sizes up here and the fit is good. I’ve been wearing this dress everywhere, from nights out with the girls to dinners out. It’s super flattering, looks great, and is very comfortable to wear.I tend to wear the shoulders up, so it takes on more of a boxy neckline, but it actually stays put without issue, which is nice because I’ve been pairing it with a regular bra.The only thing that caught me off guard was how high the slit is. Although it’s nice and you can’t always tell how high up it goes, I am very self-conscious about it and worry about big gusts of wind. lol

Super cute dress for any occasion. I love how it flows. The slit give it a slight sexy look. You can pull the shoulders low or high depending on the occasion and how conservative you want to be. The material is nice and it is made well. Love the emerald green color!

Super cute plus size maxi!This dress is super comfortable, it is made with a breathable material that offers a slight stretch. The quality of the design is great, stitching is tight and it shouldn’t come apart easily.The slit comes up a bit higher than I expected it to so I’ll have to wear a pair of shorts underneath to feel 100% comfortable wearing it, but that isn’t a deal breaker!I can’t wait to wear this on vacation!

This dress is so beautiful. I love the plum color. It is thinner material but not see through. Very light and breathable fabric. The slit is very much up there, so consider that. I felt a little uncomfortable with the slit that high but overall, I love the dress and wear it often. It is true to size and has not shrunk when washing. The quality is nice. It isn’t very versatile with the slit being there, it is hard to dress this dress up, but for summer and casual, it is perfect.
