Easy, filling and yummy
I’m always a little skeptical of low calorie books, but have been trying to feed us a little healthier. This book has pleasantly surprised me.Pros- most recipes are pretty quick- ingredients are easy to find at any normal grocery store and are cheap- everything we’ve made has been delicious, many of them I would even serve to vegan skeptics- I really like Kiki’s calming nature and approach- for people who count calories, she does include the nutrition facts- there’s a good mix of breakfast, Main dishes, sauces and sweets- there are a lot of very nice pictures- she includes the metric measurements of items that matter- I found that she typically seasons things quite well, unlike some of the whole foods folks who undersalt everything- the portion sizes are a little weird, often States for one although for me it’s more like one and a half to two, so you just have to be conscientious and adjust accordingly; not a big deal reallyOverall I would definitely recommend this book.Cons- I’m not personally a fan of using low calorie packaged foods or stevia; this is not been an issue though because I just sent them for the ones I would prefer. Obviously this makes the calorie counts higher but I don’t count calories so I don’t care- in regards to the above, I think some of the calorie counts are incorrect from a quick glance- I know this is asking a lot, but I do like it when authors include what dishes can be frozen

Delicious easy plant based recipes
Love this cookbook, has easy to follow, delicious recipes. And they don’t have hard to find ingredients that I’ve never heard of, nothing too expensive. The pictures are beautiful and mouthwatering. And the weekly planner is easy to follow and not too time intensive, although some meals and ingredients are better planned ahead of time

Must have
This book is wonderful if you want to go completely plant based or like I do I use some recipes to get more veggies into the weekly meals. Love that there are so many pictures. I actually won’t purchase cookbooks/recipe books that do not have wonderful pics of the foods. So many simple and tasty recipes! I also appreciate that Plantiful Kiki’s books are judgement free. I have both her books and both worth having. Out of all the cookbooks I have I have made the most from both her books.

One of the best cookbooks I’ve ever bought.
These recipes are delicious and simple. Makes incorporating healthy plant based meals easy. The cheese sauce is really a game changer! I didn’t think I would be able to give up cheese, but the included recipe is incredible!

I love these simple recipes!
I went plant based a few years ago, and unfortunately gave it up (mostly because I didn’t prepare foods in advance, and I ran out of the ideas what to make, so I just grabbed whatever I found).I just received Kiki’s cookbook this weekend, and I got super excited, and on Monday I started my vegan journey again, hopefully for life this time. This book is beautiful, every recipe has pictures, and they only have a few simple ingredients. I just made the stroganoff, it is so tasty! I’m going to make 2 more recipes tonight, the Mango salsa, and the Potato and kale soup. I have other vegan cookbooks, but many of them have difficult to follow recipes, and expensive ingredients. I love Kiki’s simplicity. I love it that the recipes have a nutritional breakdown, and the calories are listed. I also don’t like leftovers, and many of the recipes are singles servings. Now I want to buy her other cookbooks!

Amazing comfort foods that help with weight loss!
I love Kiki’s cooking style. I have soo many vegan cookbooks but I found through trial and error, not all of them are match how I like to eat. Sometimes they’re just too.. light? I’m a comfort food girl, and I love big portions. I’m so glad Kiki made another amazing book full of yummy recipes! I’m also glad she doesn’t criticize people who prefer to count calories lile so many people do in the vegan world. As a food addict who has struggled for decades, counting is the only thing that has lead me to have a balanced relationship with food AND be able to lose weight. It’s great that she included so much information about how to do it right for people who need more guidance. Now I just hope her next cookbook is all about high-raw vegan comfort foods!

Great recipes, easy to make a family friendly. Kiki is so helpful with the structure of the book. Her prose is simply but not condescending. I’ve followed Kiki on YouTube (highly recommend this channel btw) and also bought her other book. If you want an enjoyable, sustainable and most importantly healthy way to eat then this book is for you! For anyone who struggles with the shame around eating, then this book could really help. Kiki is very good on making food super tasty and satisfying so you can eat as much as you like without negative feeling. I love the sauces, such a life saver. If I’m feeling a little low on energy I can steam some broccoli and potatoes then add the cheese sauce for a quick and totally delicious meal quickly. The puddings are lush. Again, Kiki is real around sustainable eating. I don’t want a life without pud! I hope you enjoy this book as much I do.

Such a great selection of recipes. Been following Kiki for years and have most of her books. Her intro in this cookbook is simplified and easy to understand. She also added a 28 day meal plan with her recipes that makes it a no guessing game. My kids are always on board when I mention the recipe is from Kiki’s cookbook. A+

I really like the book and the ideal of low calorific food along with the 50/50 plate idea, Kiki explains it so well. The thing I find hardest is finding some of the foods she takes about in the UK, not sure if it’s just the shops that I have near me. I haven’t tried the full 28 day menus yet but have tried some of the recipes and am using the book more as a guide to low calorie eating
