REDUCES SAG UNDER LOAD — Ideal for occasionally hauling or towing varying loads; heavy gauge, calibrated coil spring reduces sag when loaded up to 1,200 lbs. (capacity limited by suspension, tires and transmission; see owner’s manual)
EXCEPTIONAL HANDLING — Tuned specifically for each application, full-displaced valving automatically adjusts to road extremes to provide ride consistency
CONSISTENT RIDE — OE all-weather fluid contains special modifiers to handle extreme temperatures and PTFE-banded piston helps reduce friction between the piston and pressure tube to enhance responsiveness to changing road surfaces
LONGER SERVICE LIFE — Self-lubricating fluid seal retains gas and reduces excessive friction against the piston rod to help reduce premature wear while heavy-duty nitrocarburized rod delivers long life
IMPROVES PERFORMANCE — Nitrogen gas-charge maintains tire-to-road contact for improved ride and handling by reducing aeration and shock fade

    Awesome!
Put these on my 2015 GMC sierra 1500 sle, the ride is great without a trailer, and doesn’t sag nearly as bad as it did before installing these. Still a little but they ride great both with and without a car trailer attached! Also raised the back of the truck a little removing some of the leaf spring sag. Very easy to install. Took me 20 min!

    Extra Stability
Great cheap alternative to add a leafs. Really increased handling with loads. It marginally affects the trucks handling without a load. So far have driven 6k miles loaded/unloaded and towing a 7k trailer on occasion. Really tightened up the trucks handling.

    Truck
    Works great

    Durable heavy shock
Haven’t installed yet. Looks good to go.

Great replacement shock if you have weight in the back
Well so far going from worn out shocks with my toolbox (1000lbs) in the back to these new shocks installed I’ve gained 4” on my ride height with a load lol sorry I wasn’t able to give an unloaded measurement as this toolbox stays in the truck between jobs. Ease of install I’ll give a 3 and I’m a mechanic/ fabricator. Was about 10pm in a side with the right tools. Lift rear up as high as possible without the tires coming off the ground and use a stand to hold it there at the hitch and then use your floor jack and a pin bar to put in place and viola!Well after a good test drive they are what everyone says they are quality ride wise

    Liking the improved ride quality
First off- you’re purchasing a PAIR of Monroe 58654 load adjusting shocks- it’s a great deal!I put them on my ‘15 Silverado 1500 LTZ which has the 6.2L and max tow package to pull my 6,500# camper trailer. I got the truck with 120k and it seemed to wallow over rough roads. I want to put 2” leveling struts on the front but started with the rear shocks to firm up the ride/towing. Immediate positive unloaded ride difference noticed putting these shocks on. Hopefully they also hold up well when putting my trailer on with camp gear in the bed box. Will advise

2 months and it’s Very loud
At first I really liked these shocks. But after 2 months and 2,000 miles any little bump the springs are so loud people will look. Customer service never responded to my emails and it’s too late to return. My advice is don’t buy this. Luckily I saved my old shocks and reinstalled them. No more sounds now. So it wasn’t a different part making that noise. For the ones saying they had a to use a Jack on the shock is kind of silly. Just jack up the truck. Using a jack in the shock is asking for trouble and dangerous.

  9. Amazon Customer

    Shocks they work

  10. Geoff

When hauling heavy there is no other replacement then the coil assisted shocks. if you are tired of your truck sagging off to one side then these are the shocks for you

  11. Charlie

Got here super fast, and actually fit,( they didn’t even ask what color the truck was), I’m so buying anything I can from here again.loved the experience.Thank you.

  12. daniel

They are not bad they squeak, the spring rubs on the housing of the shock and can get annoying. But I do notice a slight difference NOT alot

  13. JeanAlbert
