    Update
I am, once again, placing another order for the Macadamia Nut milk style I first ordered, which is the unsweetened barista. When I re-ordered this the first time, I was sent the wrong style. I was sent the one that is slightly sweetened. It wasn’t bad, but it was not what I wanted nor what I ordered; my order history attests to that.I’ve read other reviews wherein it was stated that the manufacturer will not accept returns. However, if I am once again sent something other than what I ordered from this manufacturer, I will notify Amazon and make a very strong demand that I not have pay for it. That is actually in line with the US postal code regarding the receipt in the mail of anything you have not ordered. We’ll just have to see how this goes. I really do like the unsweetened barista and recommend it as a good milk substitute.have trouble digesting milk easily, so have been looking for a non-dairy drink that I would like in my tea, coffee, cereal, or just to drink by itself. I’ve tried all the alternatives such as almond, oat, coconut, and rice drinks. But was not particularly fond of any of them. Then I heard about macadamia “milk.” It’s not easy to find in local stores, and also not inexpensive. I found this on Amazon and took a chance, so bought the 6 pack of the plain original unsweetened Barista style. And it’s good!! I like to froth my milk for my coffee, and this froths beautifully, and holds its froth. It has a much creamier consistency than any of the other alternatives I’ve tried. I’ve even had it by itself and it’s fine. There isn’t any unpleasant taste or aftertaste to it. recently reordered and made the mistake of ordering the same brand but one that is “lightly sweetened” with cane sugar. The carbs per serving is low enough that I’ve decided to keep it, since I take my coffee and tea sweetened. I may never buy any other type of “creamer” again; I like this that much! If you’re looking for a good milk or non-dairy alternative, give this a try.UPDATE: I just double checked my order and I did not order the sweetened by mistake; it was sent to me by mistake. Just used the sweetened for the first time. By itself, it has a really nice, very lightly sweetened taste. However, it is not as creamy as the Original plain I first ordered, and though it did froth, the Original froths better and holds its froth better. Since I’ve already opened one of the Sweetened cartons, I won’t try to return the other 5 that came in the pack. But next order I will return if sent what I didn’t order. Over all, this is still a very good milk alternative and, imo, better than any other milk alternatives I’ve tried. .

    Great milk alternative for diabetics
I developed gestational diabetes during my last two pregnancies and despite having dropped a lot of weight, I am still considered pre diabetic. I am also sadly lactose intolerant. Unfortunately, it wasn’t until after my last pregnancy that I found out how awful oatmilk is for diabetics because it absolutely sky rockets your blood sugar levels. Which may be a reason why my diabetes has carried into my postpartum era. Anyways, I was told by a dietitian that most milk alternatives raise blood sugar levels exponentially. However, coconut and macadamia nut are the two that are your best options. Now, with this being said, I have switched to the macadamia nut milk for my overnight oats, protein shakes, and chia pudding and they all taste great. There is no overpowering nutty taste like that of almond milk and it is not sweet or toasty like coconut milk. To me, it’s the closest taste to regular milk when used in prepping items that call for milk.I have never been someone who enjoyed drinking a plain glass of milk and will not drink this on its own either. I will say that the texture is about as thick as vitamin d milk and it unfortunately does not froth in my milk frother. Also, it does not taste good as an alternative to oatmilk in coffee.Overall, I have found it to be a great milk substitute that is still relatively versatile and not terribly expensive.

    Excellent taste
I am sold on this product. Excellent product to add to any drink or solo. I need calorie rich alternatives and this one is perfect for my family.

  4. Charlie A.

    Sweeter tasting than the plain
Although unsweetened the vanilla gives is a sense of sweetness that I enjoy

It’s good, shipped with less than a month before best by date.
I have no concerns with the macadamia milk itself. It’s not particularly “creamy” like chobani creamy oatmilk or planet oat creamy. The flavor is good and is a good substitute for cow’s milk in museli and complements my daily cup of coffee/matcha.I’m just a bit annoyed that I now have six 32oz containers that are Best By 02 NOV 2024 and purchase was made Oct 4 2024.Other shelf-stabile milks almost always have 6 months before best by date when purchased in my experience.

    Love this stuff.
I am lactose intolerant and a diabetic. This milk is good, even unsweetened. I use it in cereal. Very good quality. Worth the price.

    Creamy, Smooth, and Neutral
My husband and I don’t drink cow’s milk because I try to keep my carbs fairly low, and he is lactose intolerant. It doesn’t matter that much to my husband, because he only really uses it as an ingredient in things, since he has never been a big milk drinker. I, on the other hand, used to drink milk as my primary beverage and loved it with pretty much every meal. I really miss it. So, I have tried pretty much every unsweetened milk alternative I could get my hands on — you name it, I’ve almost certainly tried it (soy, almond, coconut, hemp, oat, hazelnut, blends thereof, etc. etc.). I had never come across macadamia milk before, though. So, when I saw it on sale for Prime Day, I jumped on it, even though it was a 6-pack. It sounded pretty good, since I’m a fan of macadamias. Plus, I figured it had good potential for milk, since they’re such a creamy nut to begin with. And wow — no regrets. This milk is so rich and smooth, with none of that “off” aftertaste that most milk alternatives have. It still isn’t dairy — so don’t go in expecting that. But that said, it is the closest I have ever come to finding a true milk replacement. This is actually enjoyable to just drink by the glass or with a meal. In particular, it’s not too thin, and it doesn’t have an overly distinctive, in-your-face kind of flavor. It’s neutral and goes well with almost anything, which is what I always loved about cow’s milk. If you’ve been searching like me and haven’t been satisfied yet, I definitely recommend you try this stuff. I was not disappointed, and I doubt you will be either.

I read some reviews that people only got one milk and I thought I’d take the risk! Absolutely thrilled to have received all 6. September 2025 expiration date.

  9. ShelleyV

The barista blend foams up like a dream and is the perfect choice for a latte. It has a lovely, mildly sweet scent. Not a “nutty” flavour as I’ve found with most nut milks. This one rocks! Makes an absolutely perfect green tea latte.

It’s just down to people’s preferences, i found this milk too watery .

  11. Nupur

The macadamia milk in itself is great. The product description on Amazon is misleading. It says Quantity 1, 6pack X 32 oz. However only 1 pack of 32oz was delivered. There’s been no way to communicate this back and also there are no returns from this seller.

Great addition to coffee: Good taste and foamingAny price above CAN $5 is too high
