The device worked initially, it makes a specific high pitched sound while activated when I first got it, and I tested it on myself . About 2 weeks after I bought it, the sound that it made changed and the animals no longer responded to it, so I tested it on myself again and it does nothing.I ended up disassembling it, I would not recommend this unless you have electrical experience and are out of the return period. There is a pair of small metal prongs protruding from the main board near the battery, spaced about 1mm apart. The unit started working again after I bent these prongs closer together, the gap between them must have been set too wide at the factory. when re-assembling the device, be sure you do not cut or crimp the cable as you re-tighten the screws.

Great for mice or moles that end up in your house.
My cats bring mice and moles in my house overnight through the dog door and just like to play with them until they run under the stove. I use this to stun/kill the mice. Sounds cruel but its better then the hours of torture they get from my cats. Works great for that problem.

I bought this to use while walking for all the aggressive dogs in the area. Luckily I haven’t used it. It is light wait and has a light at the end if needed.
