Wilhelm Jordan moved to Christiania, as Norway´s capital, Oslo, was then known as, in 1837. Together with two fellow comb-makers he established a modest comb-making business in the city centre on 5 August 1837, which today has evolved into one of Europe’s leading brush factories.

Awesome basic toothbrush!
I’ve tried so many different toothbrushes over the years- expensive electric ones, cheap electric ones, and random drugstore manual ones with the craziest marketing claims. Toothbrushes have gotten really expensive in the last few years- the electric brush heads are expensive, and at the drugstore you have a choice between very cheap and flimsy manual ones that break easily, or gaudy plastic brushes with marketing hype that also are kinda expensive for what they are.I finally started searching around Amazon for a simple, basic, quality toothbrush. I searched and searched- going down rabbit trails of bamboo brushes or more expensive options. Ultimately I found these and have been extremely satisfied. They’re at a great price point, seem to be good quality, and provide a good brushing experience. The bristles are truly quite soft which I’ve learned is important for not damaging your enamel. Despite the softness, they clean very well and haven’t shed bristles at all. After about a month, the first brush still looks brand new. I also appreciate that the brush heads are quite large which is great.I love finding basic, good quality, reasonably priced staples to add to my subscribe-and-save and hopefully use forever. These toothbrushes have filled that need in the brushing department!

So glad to have finally found a natural toothbrush that works.Love: durable bristles with the perfect softness/stiffness. Comfortable handle. Cleans really well as the tips of the bristles are different lengths. Great value, 4 brushes per pack. Cute colors.Mostly I love that the bristle end of these brushes do not protrude which other natural brushes have, which affected my ability to get the brush to the backmost teeth. Exactly what I was looking for.

Close to the Perfect Toothbrush
This toothbrush is a pleasure to use. The full sized head is densely populated with bristles…seems to have at least twice the tufts of many of the modern overengineered brushes. I’m old-school and to me common sense says, more bristles = better cleaning. And the bristles…they’re soft with the perfect firmness for me. The simple, clean Scandinavian designed handles are super comfortable to hold, without a trace of the overused soft plastic I find so unnecessary in almost every other brush. They also seem very durable. It’s been over three months on my first brush, and the bristles are just starting to bend…and I brush very hard and long (both not recommended I know).I’m 76, been through more toothbrushes than most, and these are the best brushes I’ve ever used. Plus…the plastics and the packaging are from recycled materials, and the bristles are bio-based (derived from materials of biological origin…renewable, not petro-based).

Angled handle, soft bristles. All even length with no strange shapes to the brush head. Just started using, so not sure how long they hold up, but they feel like they will last a while. Solid handle that’s easy to grip. Bristles tight together like a real “brush”.

Was kann man über eine Zahnbürste schon sagen? Sie putzt die Zähne – wie gut, hängt meist vom Nutzer ab.Aber, diese Zahnbürste macht das Putzen leicht und angenehm. Die Borsten sind nicht zu weich und nicht zu hart. Sie stehen sehr eng, was auch das Reinigen der Zahnzwischenräume unterstützt. Durch die weichen Borsten lässt sich das Zahnfleisch gut massieren, ohne, dass es zu Verletzungen kommt. Die Form ist ausgesprochen angenehm. Sie liegt gut in der Hand und lässt sich sehr gut führen. Auch die Haptik im Mundraum ist ausgesprochen gut.Aufgrund der weichen Borsten empfehle ich einen Austausch alle 4 Wochen.Das kann man über eine Zahnbürste sagen.
