Understand a Deodorant vs Antiperspirant
I personally enjoy using this deodorant. I wanted to switch to something with minimal ingredients and no fragrance. This was perfect! I even tested it out at disney world in the spring humidity and no smell here. I have always had problems finding a deodorant to mask the natural odor and to be honest with everyone it takes work, your problems will not be fixed with just a deodorant.1st: understand the difference between a deodorant and an antiperspirant. A deodorant is meant to deodorize aka anti smell/mask the smell, NOT to stop sweating. An antiperspirant is meant to stop perspiration/sweating.2nd: you need to have a good underarm routine. I keep mine as simple as possible because let’s be realistic, we don’t have a lot of time in the morning. I prefer the morning but this can be done any time of day when needed. So here’s the routine: in the shower use your preferred body wash, then a physical scrub (ie. Sugar scrub/salt scrub) but make sure there is no oil in the ingredients because that can leave a film on your underarms. My favorite scrub at the moment is from Odele. After the scrub I cleanse again but this time with the Lume acidified body wash (I use the tangerine scent but there is also lavender). And that’s it. After the shower, dry your pits and apply the simply unscented deodorant (I have not tried this with the scented options because I have had bad experiences with the scent mixing with my natural odor). With that routine I have no issues for minimum 12 hours.That being said to get better deodorant coverage of your underarms, apply it normally and then rub it in with your fingertips to cover any hard to apply areas.Hope this helps some pits in need!

Sensitive kind WORKS (for 2 days!). If you’ve not showered, you need water so it glides on
Ever since I read about the inadvisability of blocking the pores from which perspiration leaves the body and the questionable daily use of aluminum (I don’t know for sure if either/both of these are true, but I’d rather not play around with an area of the body which contains so many lymph nodes), I’ve been on the hunt for a natural deodorant that works.The crystals didn’t work AT ALL. None of the myriad number of deodorants worked (well, one other one did SOMETHING), until I found this one.This WORKS. For me (and I am using the unscented vegan, sensitive skin variety, which I suspect may not even be as effective as the regular skin type kind) this not only keeps me from any unseemly odors for a day, it will actually work into the next day!Now, as they say, YMMV. Everyone’s body has unique biochemistry and maybe you won’t get quite as good results as I have. That’s impossible for me to say.However, of the literally dozens of natural deodorants on the market, this, for me, is by FAR the best!One caveat: If you are using this right out of the shower, don’t dry your underarms. If you do, it will not go on smoothly. If I have not just showered, I run a little water on the deodorant before I use it and that ensures that it glides on easily.Maybe this isn’t true for the other varieties. I haven’t tried them.However, if you were taking it camping or something, that might be an issue.Last, but *definitely* not least, no versions are tested on animals! Yay! Snoopy HappyDance!Bearing in mind that NO deodorant (natural or otherwise) is going to be as effective as a combination antiperspirant/deodorant, I believe that this is the best deodorant currently on the market!

Finally!!!
I’ve been using natural deodorant for over a decade but they’ve all always come up short. Humble is the first natural deodorant that not only smells amazing but also works great. I only need to apply once a day and it last. No aluminum or any other nasty chemicals! Gear price too (natural deos can be so pricey).

Best Smelling Deodorant Ever
I have never been able to find an aluminum free deodorant that actually works, until Humble! All of their scents are wonderful and last all day long without reapplication. The vanilla cardamom is the best smell yet- I immediately ordered 3 more!!

Works, but gritty texture.
The Good:1) smells great! Very mild rose fragrance, not overpowering like some others. Lavender fragrance is also light and pleasant.2) works! Lasts all day. Requires rewashing and reapplication daily, but does the job3) used it for a week now with no allergic reactions so far and no oil staining on the clothing. I bought the sensitive formula.The bad:1) the formula is gritty/rough. Feels like im sanding my armpits. Ive taken to scraping some deodorant off with the back of my nail, working it with my fingers, and massaging it in. It’s still rough, but not as much. Im concerned i will get physical irritation if not chemical, so I’m alternating it with other smoother brands to give my skin a break. I don’t know if i can return used product to amazon or not.

Smells great works great
This deodorant is my new favorite. Obviously if you’re interested in it you’re probably already aware of the ingredients but it had what I wanted without all the stuff I don’t so that’s good. But many other products now offer phthalate-free, aluminum-free, etc., so why this one? My armpits don’t stink. That’s pretty straightforward. AND it smells so great! I got the patchouli and it creates a sort of patchouli cologne smell, it’s subtle but during the day as it’s working it gives off a really pleasant fresh scent. If I’m wearing a sleeveless shirt I don’t even bother with perfume because I don’t need it. That being said, if you don’t like the smell of patchouli definitely get another scent.
