HUE Jeggings
I love the HUE brand and have been wearing them for years. At 5’1″ and 120 lbs, I have difficulty finding jeans that fit me properly. The medium jeggings fit perfectly. Material wise, it is medium thickness (not too thin nor thick and heavy). Very comfortable and lightweight. Perfect to wear with your huge sweaters/sweatshirts. Highly recommend.

GREAT FIT (Stone Acid Wash ONLlY), but AWFUL ODOR!
I am 5’ 4” (almost) and 280lbs. I carry most of my weight in my mid-section – meanling apple shape, I suppose! (Not happy about sharing this part, but it is the best way to help some of you have an idea regarding what style or size would be a better choice for you.) While they are a bit long, it is pretty easy to arrange the fit by pulling the stretchy material up and over my legs and belly area; basically, the pants will fit the way you want, with a little stretch and shifting. Lol! Not a problem at all, and they look great all day – NO sagging or sliding down the hips like some leggings tend to do after a couple hours of wear. I have had a few pair for two months, wear them a lot, and I have NOT noticed any pilling of the material or any is fraying, nor have I noticed any wearing down of the material between the thighs, which I know is a common problem with thin material. You will find the quality of this fabric to be sturdy; however, since the leggings are “comfortably” snug, hugging every curve, I would go up a size only if you happen to carry a lot of you’re weight in your legs. The pants will still fit you like a legging, but they will not be too tight. iDue to some surgeries a more sedentary lifestyle, and some extreme stress over the past 2 years, I gained about 80 pounds, 55 of them just in the 2019 year! I only mention this because I am starting a program with my doctor to shed that weight gain, and I do not wish to purchase a while new wardrobe of larger-sized clothing. I am seeking items that insult be able to fit into, now, and still be able to wear for a while during my weight loss journey. I thought that this pull-on Hue Essential Denim style could fit the bill as well as not press too tightly in my stomach like real button-closure waists. However, I will say that the Essentials style with the fake button on the waist bands may not be the best for those who carry a lot of their weight in their bellies. The button and its section of the waistband of this style will stick out with certain tops, so you really want to go with the Hue Curvy Style of the Jean leggingsIMPORTANT to note is that while they fit me very well and I love how they feel; the STONE WASHED pair has AN AWFUL “MILDEWY” ODOR to them that is almost impossible to mask or remove! I read other reviews about such an odor, but this is the first time I have ever received anything from Amazon with a foul odor. I tried to eliminate the smell by washing them twice (I hung them to dry – even outdoors in the cold breeze with the sun shining), but the odor is still present. I could smell it In the house for several days! But since I was going on a trip and did not have time to return them, I kept them, hoping that the odor would fade! Let me assure you that I tried everything! I’m pretty resourceful and stubborn when I decide I want to fix something, so I spent more time than most people trying to DEODORIZE them! After a couple washing’s (one with vinegar added!) they still smelled! Then I sprayed them with an odor removal spray and hung them outdoors. Fingers crossed! Nope, once they dried and I brought them back inside, I could still smell them! Aha, then I resorted to my secret weapon – I THOUGHT I WAS BRILLIANT. – and I tried Skunk Off spray and even the Skunk Off Shampoo, as I have found through many awful experiences with my little dog getting sprayed by his buddies, the Le Pews, that it actually works better than the “Vinegar, Baking Soda and Dawn dish detergent mixture.” Well……it helped a little, but then they smelled like Skunk Off, which has its own funky odor.SO…,TO THE POINT (finally): How are they now after two months? Well, they still have a faint musty scent, but I do believe it will eventually fade, as other reviewers have noted. I probably didn’t have to do all of the “tricks” to mask the odor as it is my opinion – after having received another similar style of HUE Jeans in a darker blue color that ALSO smelled musty and mildewed – that the odor may not really be the result of Amazon salvaging a truckload of wet, moldy clothing from a major brand store; rather, it appears that the odor may have more to do with a chemical in some blue dyes, and you just need to be patient for the odor to fade. I would still suggest soaking them in vinegar and baking soda in washer for about hour or so, first; then, toss in your detergent and give them a nice long wash. Let them air dry, plug your nose when you put them on the first time…spray a little extra deodorizer or perfume -LOL!-and try to deal with it because they do fit so well and are probably going to be your favorite “go-to” pant!SIDE NOTE: I also ordered this same style in BLACK, and they did not smell, but they were SO MUCH TIGHTER in the waist band area that I literally could not even get them over my hips! I have read other reviews that mentioned this, too. There is a difference in the material composition of various styles, with some having a lower Spandex to Cotton ratio. The more spandex, the more flex, and the HUE Curvy Jean leggings with a wide solid waistband (no fake zip/button closure) do have more spandex, so they should give you that extra give in your belly, if needed. NO, they do not sneak down while wearing, either! Both styles of the HUE Jean Leggings stay in place and do not seem to be pulling or stretching out at the seams.THE COMPANY SHOULD NOTE THAT THERE IS AN INCONSISTENCY in the labeling for the ESSENTIALS style! because the ESSENTIALS package label on the STONE ACID WASH pair states that they are are made with 57 percent cotton and 12 percent spandex, BUT the waistband tag inside the pant is the same as in the BLACK: 81 percent cotton and 6 percent spandex. (This is the actual material composition advertised on all of the Essentials style, so I really don’t know if the BLACK pairs are just made with a much smaller waistband, or if the pair I received was defective? I also don’t know if the STONE ACID WASH pair that I am keeping is really made with a higher spandex content and has an incorrect tag on its waistband. That is frustrating because it should be consistent so we know what we are ordering.)

Omg..It didn’t register with me the name Hue! Until I saw the packaging! I’ve been ordering Hue in stocking, since the 80 at Nordstrom!!! These leggings are awesome! I wanted to wear western jeans to a xmas party & theses just fit the bill. I’m 71 yrs young & ride English, & western lol to this is perfect!!! I’m going to buy more! Hue..is awesome I think I still have old nylon. Stocking in my drawer

Comfortable Fit – look like real jeans
I am size 4, 5’3″ and weigh 121 pounds. I usually order Small but when I read the reviews for these Hue leggings I thought I should order Medium. I got them yesterday and they fit a tiny bit loose. They are very comfortable ( I have several Hue leggings ) and fit more like jeans than leggings – I think it’s because I ordered medium. So I am ordering size Small to see the difference. I may keep the medium as “jeans” and use the small as leggings if they fit. I have a pair of original acid washed Hue leggings that I have been wearing for a few years and they are just now starting to develop a hole in the waistband. They have been my go-to pants for all kinds of occasions because they are so flattering. I cannot find the exact same style so I am trying the Essential Denim. I would like to get the original ones because I don’t like the button on the waistband.

Not enough stretch for me
I love Hue ultra high waisted leggings, and these are the exact same cut. If I lay this pair on top of the ultra high waisted leggings, they are exactly the same size and shape. However, these have a higher cotton percentage and lower spandex, so they don’t slip on and have the same relaxed comfortable feel as the other type. These felt much smaller and stiffer, due to the higher cotton percentage. I’m 5’1 and 153lbs, with curvy hips, and these just did not fit my figure right. I had to return them.

j’ai découvert la marque Hue en Italie il y a dix ans ,des legging jean mélange coton et spandex ,tissu révolutionnaire solide,hyper confort et qui affine la silhouette ,pour moi qui ne suis pas mince du tout c est génial;Certes la marque est un peu chere mais dure dans le temps et reste indémodable;Merci Amazon France d’avoir inclus cette marque amèricaine car avant ne trouvant pas cette marque en France j’étais obligée de commander sur Amazon USA et avec les frais de douanes ce n’était pas top;

So, these fit really well. I’ve gained a bit of weight after pregnancy, but the small fits really well. I’m 135 lbs and 5’4. I had order another pair of Hue’s but those were too small. These fit so much better, and comfy. Good colour too.
