Great Alternative for Dogs with Dietary Restrictions!
I was in a bit of a pinch recently when I had to order dog food for my pup while my parents were watching him. He can’t eat chicken, so I needed something that would work for his sensitive stomach, and I’m so glad I chose Halo Purely for Pets Holistic Dog Food.I was a little worried because I’ve had trouble finding a dog food that meets his dietary needs and still gets him excited to eat, but this was a huge hit! The ingredients are clean, and I love that it’s made with high-quality, whole food ingredients. The best part is that it doesn’t contain chicken, which is a relief for me and my dog. Instead, it has other protein sources like turkey and lamb, which are both great for his tummy. My dog seems to really enjoy the taste—he ate it up quickly without any hesitation. Plus, I noticed that his energy levels were good, and he didn’t have any digestive issues while eating it, which has been a problem with other foods in the past.

why do you have to put salt in the food?
I was all about this product and I am reading and there’s salt in it. I’m happy that there’s no meal this or that as a filler but why salt salt is extremely toxic for dogs or cats they would’ve had me sold but then they lost me on that plus the crude fat is a bit high, according to the crude protein ratio

Doesn’t like food
My Belgian Mal took the food. Ate it 4 different hand fulls. Then would not touch it again. I don’t know what else to do. She use to not be picky but now I do not know what to try.

This product has chicken.
My is allergic to chicken. So I’ve worked hard to find foods without it. I bought this one because it said it had cage-free turkey in it. I read the label carefully but when my dog started eating it she started itching again this morning she woke up with a swollen face which is a sign of an allergy. When I looked closely at the ingredients I saw the third item was deboned chicken. I feel they should have put that on the front of the bag so people would know they weren’t getting Just Turkey meat in the food.
