Customers say

Customers find that the animal nutritional supplement improves coat health and skin softness. They appreciate that it’s plant-based, as their dogs are allergic to seafood. The product smells better than fish oil and lasts longer due to its lack of animal origin.

Made a difference in my dogs coat immediately
My dog has kinda wirey fur, I started giving her this and she got so soft. I was very suprised. She is 10 already but I am keeping her on it as possibly its helping her internally also. Great and I do reccomend.

Great for my dog who’s allergic to fish
After feeding one of my dogs fish oil for years we finally discovered she was allergic to fish and had to stop her supplementation. She’s had lots of issues with pancreatitis so I was nervous to try a new oil but since she’s fed a home cooked keto diet I had to figure out some way to add fat to her food. I came across the Fera oil and I nervously eased her into a full serving per day and so far so good! She eats it right up so she has no complaints! It smells a lot better than the fish oil to me. My only complaint is that it drips after you pour it and so you have to wipe down the bottle so you don’t have residue pool under it in the fridge. I think a bottle top with a dropper would be a great addition.

    Best oil hands down
Not only being higher quality and more sustainable than fish based oil, it lasts much longer due to absence of animal life origin.

  4. Becca A

    No complaints here
I like rotating between fish oils and plant oils because I know they are both great in their own ways. I like this oil, I wish the bottle had a nozzle or something cause it’s quite easy to give them too much or have it running down the side of the bottle. So that I would change, but I think it’s working since my dog’s coats have remained nice and supple. It doesn’t say to refrigerate but I didn’t see any preservatives on the ingredient list so my suggestion would be to place in fridge after opening just in case.

2 Month Use Resulted in Brittle Fur and Very Dry Flaky Skin
I switched from another name brand Omega 3 oil supplement for my dog, she is a German Shorthaired Pointer, to Fera Omega Vegan formula and tried it for two months. By the end of two months of daily usage of the recommended amount for her weight my dog’s fur was very dry and brittle, her skin was also dry and very flaky. Just petting her caused her dry flaky skin to appear on her back. Nothing else in her diet was changed except for the switch to Fera Vegan Omega 3 Oil. I have discontinued the Fera Oil. Changing back to the original Omega 3 oil I had been using brought a much improved coat condition for my dog withn just a couple of days. Though the idea of a vegan based Omega 3 oil supplement might be environmentally sustaining this did not benefit my dog and instead proved to a unhealthy choice for her.

    My dog likes it
Sometimes my dog won’t eat his food until I add this. He likes it and I’m happy there’s no weird smells or anything.

    Amazing product!
I totally love this product. It is expensive tho and doesn’t last much since I have to give my dog 3 tsp but it’s helping my dog. A friend recommended it for my dog who suffers from dry skin and coat. After only a week of taking this supplement, I can feel a difference in her coat. She had rough hair in areas of her body that now feel softer to the touch. Very happy overall I just wish it was more affordable

Sadly didn’t work for my dog
I bought this for my Yorkshire terrier who is having skin problems, and unfortunately this didn’t seem to help at all. I am now trying Sunday freeze dried food, hopefully that will work. I am still giving this oil, as I still think it’s healthy for him, but was disappointed in no results. UPDATE: I am way beyond the refund window of time and the seller offered to return my money. I was pleasantly surprised by this, they really stand behind their products!

  9. Katia Hagen

I was recommended by my vet to give my dog omegas for her joints. I was happy to find this as a vegan alternative to fish oil. My dog absolutely loves this stuff!

  10. Book_Surfer

My dog (11 yes) loves the taste of this oil, and we are seeing positive health benefits in him. Unfortunately Amazon increased the price of the product by almost $20! Bought it twice at $29 previously, now it sells for $49 a bottle!!! Looking elsewhere to purchase, since I have to buy this every other month.

Acheté pour ma chienne qui est allergique à TOUTES les protéines animales.Je me demande si cette huile soit 100% végétale. Peut-être que ça sent la même chose?Je vais la retourner .
