Good quality lower fat recipe
We have been ordering this brand for several months now. We combined this food with FortiFlora Probiotics. Both of our dogs were getting chronic pancreatis. After partnering up with our veterinarian, she recommended that we put our dogs on a good probiotic supplement along with a lower fatty food ranging between thirteen and fifteen percent. This combination has been a lifesaver! No more bouts of constipation and diarrhea.They are happy healthy pups these days! Note: Both of our dogs are small chihuahua breed and this dog food is the right size for both of them. The older female dog has no teeth. We soak it in a little bit of hot water for just a few seconds, and she is able to consume it just fine.

Stinks
These two bags of chicken flavor both hav an odd smell to it. It almost smells like gasoline or some kind of chemical. It makes me wonder if it’s contaminated but apparently is not eligible for returns. I won’t be ordering this through Amazon again

Picky Schnauzers Like It
My two boys love this. At first the younger one was a bit hesitant, potentially because it’s a harder, more nutrient dense kibble than their usual (easier to crack, etc) but that’s just my speculation. Smell is neutral to me, as all dog food is gonna have its own weird smell. They both gobble it up now. I bought this as a supplement because the younger one wasn’t eating enough dry food and I was worried about his stool being too soft. Will definitely be buying again.

Dog won’t eat this
Two starts because it’s probably an ok food. 3 stars knocked off because from a human perspective – it smells horrible, from a dogs perspective – they won’t eat it.We have two dogs. Kato and Cleo. Cleo eats anything and everything – I mean everything. She ignored the two pieces of this in her bowl. I stuck them into some cottage cheese – she ate the cottage cheese and pushed the pieces out of her bowl. Eventually I got her to eat the two pieces.Kato is a bit picky. I offered him two pieces with two pieces of his regular food. He walked away. I removed this food, he ate his regular food. Tried to give them again, he took one piece and dropped it on the floor.Dogs don’t like this stuff!

Pricey but it adds a quality protein source to your dog’s diet. Nice to find something that isn’t chicken or turkey.
