My new favorite item for my face. I had been using the dreaded makeup removing wipes from various brands for years and with all the scrubbing I have to do for my eyeliner and mascara to come off, I knew I’d need to switch to a makeup removing balm. I am impressed with how effortless this product removes ALL of my makeup without the need for harsh scrubbing, the fact that it doesn’t take much to complete its intended purpose and that my face feels soft and clean after use. And the price! Under $12 bucks for 2 ounces. It’s a steal.

I want to start this off by saying I have annoyingly sensitive skin. Like, a single use of charcoal face wash made my entire face peel and get scaly for way too long. My face blistered when using a new (“gentle”) moisturizer. So she gets mad for no reason, all the time.I do however wear the longest-lasting eyeliner and the stickiest mascara in existence when I do convince myself to wear it, and it’s REALLY hard to get off. I used one of those makeup eraser towels, which are nice, but I would basically have to lay it over my eyes forever with steaming water to make my makeup budge. I’ve used other makeup removers that make my face feel like it’s burning (looking at you, Neutrogena), so I’ve been really hesitant to try new things.I took a risk on this stuff, and it totally paid off. It MELTS even the most stubborn makeup off. I just put it on my fingers, rub it in circles, and it just… comes right off. Depending on what I’m wearing, I sometimes have to wipe the dirty balm off of my face and repeat. I’ve never had to do that more than twice, though.It smells so good, it feels nice on the skin, and it doesn’t dry me out or… you know, give me face blisters. All these things are a plus. It does the job, it does it gently, and it does it easily. I always rinse/wash my face after I use it, so I’m not sure how it feels if you were to just wipe it off and leave remnants, but do you.e.l.f. thank you so much for not burning my face off. <3

My New Favorite
This is hands down my new favorite makeup remover and cleanser. It melts makeup away and is so creamy. I love how it feels like a spa treatment for my face and neck. It is not an irritant to my eyes either. It’s a great sized product for a great price. I highly recommend it. By the way, I’m 59 so I have mature skin and I still would choose this product over other, more expensive, products.

I don’t know how I managed before this came along. Helps “melt” make up off for easier cleansing. It feels lightweight & doesn’t leave your skin feeling greasy. It smells great & adds some extra moisture to your cleansing routine. Skin feels cleansed & soft after use, not dry & tight.

Excellent product. I am currently using the fourth container of this makeup remover and intend to keep using it. I have never used two containers of one brand in a row in my life. It does a great job of removing makeup, but I use this as part of my evening facial cleanse even on days when I don’t wear makeup. It’s that good. My skin is very sensitive but this product doesn’t irritate at all.

This is the perfect makeup cleanser. It removes all of my makeup just like that and comes off with water. No scent that I noticed which is great. It doesn’t dry my skin out at all which is perfect. It’s super cute, I love the little spoon. This is perfect for removing heavy duty waterproof mascara, and oddly enough it helps with the appearance of my sebaceous filaments (those annoying white dots that are around your nostrils and on your chin) by making them almost disappear. 100% recommend!

I have used a lip color remover, Superaway, for years. It really worked, but when I went to buy another one, the price had shot up to $15 for the small tube. Elf Skin, for about four bucks more and seven times as much, removes ALL my makeup, foundation, mascara, lipstick, and more. I’ll never buy anything else for the job. It’s also easy on your skin and takes very little to do the job. Hope you like it as much as I do.

I love this cleansing balm for removing makeup! It has a smooth, buttery texture that melts down easily and effortlessly without stripping my skin.I love that it’s infused with hyaluronic acid, so my skin feels hydrated and soft after use rather than dry or tight. It rinses off well without leaving a greasy residue.As you can see from the photos I’ve used this many times since purchasing in October, and I still have plenty left. Making it well worth the price.I like the packaging and that it includes a little applicator that stops you from having to stick your fingers in it and get it all under your nails. I haven’t taken it anywhere yet, but I feel like it’ll be great for travelling as the tub is lightweight.If you need an effective, affordable cleansing balm, this is definitely worth trying!
