Dove is the best aluminum free deoderant I’ve tried!
I’ve tried many aluminum-free deodorants and for the most part, they don’t work very well but there are a few exceptions. Here are the ones I’ve tried and how I liked them in rank order:Winners – These work great for body odor:#1 – Dove – winner by a long shot – works and applies like regular deodorant. All-weather long-lasting protection. This is so good that I can hardly believe it’s aluminum-free. Fairly priced too.#2 – Lume – works very well but, applies like a sticky lotion. It’s also pretty pricy.#3 – Crystal Mineral Deodorant Stone – This one always made me nervous because it never really applied and product to my skin. It worked well for quite a while and then seemed to stop. Not sure it the minerals in the stone were depleted or if it just stopped working for me. More testing would be required with a new stick.Medium – Will do in a pinch – Works moderately well on body odor, but not as well as a regular deodorant. I’m hesitant to use these during the summer.#3 – UnderArmed – Seems to work moderately well. A little waxy in texture but otherwise applies like normal deodorant.#4 – Schmidt’s Natural Deodorant – comes in a 2 oz jar that is applied like lotion – didn’t care for application and only works moderately well on body odor.#5 – Jason – applies like normal deodorant but doesn’t really do the job on body odor for very long.SUCKS – Waste of money and doesn’t work at all#6 Secret – Applies like normal deodorant but has almost no impact on body odor. I was stinky by the end of a cool day after working in an air-conditioned office and only walking from the office to my car (10 feet from the front door). I can’t imagine using this at the gym or during the summer.

A+++ on a Great Deodorant – Aluminum Free
It is about time they start making a nice smelling deodorant for women. The ingredients are great, and best of all, NO ALUMINUM. The deodorant is super effective in keeping my arm pits from smelling. I sweat very easily, and I find this product to last long and give me confidence. It applies easily, and feels super soft on my arm pits. Highly recommend this to all women. Great soft smell as well.

Great Deodorant!
I love Dove’s deodorant, but wanted to find an aluminum-free option that was not antiperspirant. This deodorant is not only aluminum-free, but it also has a very pleasant scent. I’ve used this for about a week and it hasn’t irritated my skin, and it lasted all day. The price was decent since you’re getting a pack of 4 for about $16. I recommend it!

inexpensive, but don’t seem effective
Doesn’t seem particularly effective. I’m not a particularly sweaty person, but my underarms become moist and just a couple of hours after putting this on. The scent is ok.

Winner after 25 years…….
For 25 years I’v been allergic to aluminum deodorants. I have tried every deodorant known to man/woman. I cannot use strong smelling deodorants due to asthma. And I have bought Dove deodorants in the past with no luck. I have been washing underarms several times a day and reapplying whatever deodorant I was using at the time. I wasn’t all that hopeful for this one but because of the many good reviews I decided to give it a try. Since I do not like smelly deodorants I opted for the Shea Butter. I cannot believe how WONDERFUL this deodorant is. It has the lightest most pleasing smell, it goes on like silk, and most importantly it lasts shower to shower. For years my grandson had no problem telling me “grandma you smell.” The other day he told me “grandma you don’t smell anymore.” 😊😊😊

Love the scent but miss not smelling like undertones of onion
I really love this deodorant and when I used it in the past it was long lasting, but now I’ve noticed a slight drop in longevity and I hate to say it but at random points in the day I will smell like an onion. Lol! I think its still a good product, but be careful out here ladies, you don’t want to smell like a halal cart. On the other hand, if coconutty halal cart is what you are going for I totally recommend this!

I wanted it to work but it did not
I wanted to try an aluminum free deodorant and, since I already used dove, I figured this would work. I started using it Wednesday afternoon and it comes on a bit oily (consistency) which is nice, but then it feels kind of sticky. The smell is good but it is very strong (rose is mine), so when I started to transpire and the BO overpowered the deodorant, I had a rose stinky smell. I was okay with having to reapply once. I did that yesterday, I even scrubbed my pits in the shower with apricot scrub and applied micellar water. This morning I woke up STANKEN … not stinky but STANKY. I do not like it and unfortunately I for a 3 pack because one was so much more than just buying 3.

This does not irritate the skin and is the best for the money when seeking Aluminum free deodorant. It works well for a few hours, but needs reapplication frequently and I am not prone to a lot of sweating. It is also slightly wet upon application, but no issues on clothing.

Other 0% aluminum deodorants have to be reapplied throughout the day and have a unpleasant smell to them. This one is just as pretty smelling as the deodorants with aluminum. Works sooo well I don’t need to reapply throughout the day. 10/10 product for me. Been using this for maybe 6 months or so and I’ve never gotten a rash or anything like that.
