Excellent grilled cheese appliance. Cuisenart never disappointed with their products. The price was perfect since I was needing a new sandwich grill. The grill plates and timing lights turned out perfect grilled cheese.

Nice sandwich maker
This is my third maker over the last 10 years. Over time the casing tends to break off but usually each unit lasts a good 3-4 years. Very happy with it and will continue buying as old units break.

I’m hooked on the grilled cheese with bacon
My granddaughter and I got this for our summer sandwiches, and it is awesome. We use Pam spray and two sandwiches are done in less than two minutes. It’s easy to use and to clean, except for the back by the hinges. The oil from the cheese gets back there and it’s a pain to clean it out. Certainly not stopping us from our grilled cheese summer, but a “would be nice to have”.

Easy and Convenient Sandwich Maker
I’ve been wanting to try a sandwich maker for awhile and thought to give this one a try.Super easy to set up, just plug it in and it is ready to go! I tend to use bread thats a bit bigger but it works just fine. Just keep an eye on it and get it to the crisp that you enjoy on a sandwich!I really enjoy that it does give it a little “pocket” type area. So I tend to put diced pickles/tomatoes/etc in my cheese sandwiches to make them a little different.Overall, it is great and easy to use. My only request would be maybe a little alarm sound or such if you happen to leave it on. I tend to get distracted and forget that I have it on. Other than that, it is perfect!

Very disappointed with this purchase. I bought it because it is Cuisinart. Found out It is junk.I had a super cheap no name one before and it made great sandwichs forever,, then finally broke and i got this one.It Does not evenly cook the sandwich, parts of the outside will be dark when the other parts have no cooking color at all. Does not give the outside bread that nice toasted texture and flavor.Worse then that, the trays that the sandwich set on are very shallow and have a very small triangle where the cheese center goes.YOU END UP WITH A SMALL TRIANGLE IN THE CENTER, WITH SOME CHEESE, AND AT LEAST HALF OF THE SANDWICH IS A BIG WIDE SMOSHED TOGETHER HARD CRUST WITH NO CHEESE. IF YOU WANT ONE SANDWICH, MAKE TWO BECAUSE ABOUT HALF OF EACH SANDWICH IS GROSS AND NOT WORTH EATING. It makes a grilled cheese have hardly any cheese and makes it more of a bread sandwich. Yuck.If you put more cheese, the lid won’t close all the way and and then a lot of the cheese runs out of the sandwich maker and all over the counter top.Don’t waste your money.
