We have two cats that are gravy freaks. The problem with commercial cat food with gravy is that they are very high in carbohydrates which is bad for cats. And our two cats would always lick off all the gravy and then walk away whenever we served them good quality “gravy” style wet cat food so when I saw the high rating and the number of reviews for this product I just tacked an order for Chicken flavor onto an order I was placing without reading the review breakdowns. When the package arrived I had none of the problems with the delivered item that others had. The packaging was not damaged, it had a pour spout not a tear corner seal and the pull date was Dec 2026.That said, I shook it well and then opened it and put some on each of our cat’s food. They both came over and sniffed it and then both backed up! At first I thought that they just did not like the particular wet food so I opened a can of the food that they gobble down and put some of this broth on each portion. Same result except this time one of our cats who is an unbelievable “talker” gave me a fairly extensive lecture about that food dish. I wish Google Translate worked for cats as I would have included his comments.I have no idea why the broth repelled my two cats but now that I read the 250 one star reviews it seems that dogs seem to like this more than cats. A 15% one star review means that , at least for cats, this might be a waste of money.

Neither the small dog or cat would try it. I was so bummed because I paid my little dog dry food and I’m always spending a lot of money on dog food because I’m trying to buy toppers so I thought this was awesome but they did not think so. I thought the thickness thing was pretty cool and I had no problem with the container. Mine closed just fine. The color looks nice it smelled good but they would have nothing to do with it unfortunately.

My dog is very picky when it comes to food. We feed kibble but since putting the pumpkin broth on top he eats every single meal with no hesitation! I love the fact it is high quality ingredients as well. Pumpkin is great for dogs. I feel at ease when feeding him this product. Super simple to use. Perfect size and amazing price. Leo says it’s delicious! A go to every single time!!

I was looking for an alternative to the previous bone broth I was buying for my dogs. Came across this on Amazon and decided to try it. I mix it with rice and some frozen vegetables that I make and they haven’t missed a beat. They love it and doesn’t seem like they know I switched to something different. Will definately continue to order it.

Smelled it and walked away
I bought this for my cat after reading the reviews like most others did. I had a hard time opening it afraid it would spill over as the container is cardboard. It was like trying to open up a carton of school milk. Anyway I read the instructions. I shook it well but did not put the recommended amount in y cats food which I am glad off. My cat smelled it and walked away. I thought I did something wrong so I put some in a bowl alone for her to try, she looked at me with a look like what are you trying to feed me before walking away. The third try I mixed a tiny bit in with the food versus just on top n in a very small amount. Again she smelled it and walked away. I gave up trying this broth because there was NO way my cat would try it. When she got her normal food without this she ate her food like normal. Walking away still licking her chops!!
