Original packing box all but destroyed.
Normally I don’t complain, but this time I must. This was a canned dog food order, and the box was heavy. The original box was all but destroyed so the whole thing, box and contents, was put into larger a new box, but with nothing to prevent the original box from soaking around inside of it. The dented cans were all mixed up with the cans that survived undamaged. Thankfully none of the cans broke open, but they were darned close to destruction. While we save money ordering the food for our dogs in bulk,I’m not sure I want to try this again. Every order but one, had dented cans from a rough trip. We rescue Old Dogs from the streets and from our local animal shelter. One of our bigger dogs is now 13yrs, but with increasingly painful arthritis. Another large dog has lost half of her teeth from living on the streets for a decade. And we have a tiny terrier who was horribly abused and tortured. They are amazing and getting well. We try to feed them the best food we can afford, and good food has made a huge difference in their overall health and recovery. But even one flat of banged up cans of high quality food puts their recovery at risk. And it is mostly canned meat and some raw, with vegetables and supplements that speed their recovery. So, a few badly damaged cans could effect our outcomes.

Causes gastric upset in my animals
My animals normally eat Royal Canin…i thought I’d try this food with my dogs. They seem to have terrible stomach upsets and on occassion get diarrhea. We are going back to Royal Canin.
