Longer lasting than regular bully sticks
I have 3 pitties, all very into chewing and keeping those mouths moving. Usually, they can finish a braided bully stick in less than 30 minutes of dedicated munching. I gave these to two of my pups who have very different munching habits.My boy is only half way through after 24 hours, but that’s in part to his not entirely being on board with a vegan version. I didn’t taste it myself, but it my have a different flavor or texture to it. When I gave it to him, he initially sniffed it a bit and was a bit hesitant to take it. Ultimately his curiosity got the best of him and he did take it back to his pillow. He would pick it up and chew from time to time, but it did not fully capture his attention like the non-vegan version does.My newest girl was a stray and only arrived to our pack a couple of weeks ago. These kinds of goodies are new to her and she’s more than thrilled to try new things always. She was more interested in it and did give it a good college try. Again, it’s already lasting longer than the regular kind (which is a huge cost saver), and she seems more into the flavor than he is (she also isn’t conditioned to what it otherwise might taste like).The price is WAY cheaper than the non-vegan type and it’s not plastic or a similar material. It does eventually chew down and does so without leaving sharp slivers on the floor, the chew itself, or their mouths/stomachs. So far we have had no upset tummies (from either end) and everything seems to be digesting nicely. There isn’t that distinct smell that comes with the beef versions which is another huge plus. I’ve already added more to my shopping cart to help keep them occupied in their kennels/crates when I am out of the house.

These are OK
I would not really call these bully sticks. They are for sure not as long lasting as real bully sticks are. These are all plant based, made with starches and flours. While they start out firm, they very easily break down while your dog is chewing on it. I have 2 very different sized dogs, and they both really liked these…I got the “large” size. My mixed breed with the tiny dachshund legs loves to hold them upright in his front paws, and he is very successful with that approach. My bigger mixed breed “puppy” really needs a bully stick holder to have more success with something like this. However, the bully stick holder that I have does not fit these, as because of the braiding of them, they are too wide for a normal bully stick holder. They both took about a half an hour to down these chews. That seems like a reasonable amount of time to be content with them being occupied, but I would not really call them “long lasting”. Even though they are a better price point than regular bully sticks, they do not last as long as traditional bully sticks.

Up all night with tummy trouble after eating this 🙁
So my initial reaction was that these are smaller than I thought they’d be. They’re advertised as a large chew but they are just barely 6” long and not that thick. (I have included a photo of these next to my 6.1” iPhone for size reference.) I was a little concerned giving these to my large breed dog, but I figured I’d keep a close eye anyways so let’s try.My girl is a very picky eater but I was very happy to see that she took to this almost immediately. Of course it didn’t last long with her super chewer jaw, but all in all I’d say it was gone in about 3-4 minutes flat. She happily licked her lips and went to lay down for a nap while I wrapped up the extra chew for later on.I’ll spare you the disgusting details, but unfortunately about midnight I was woken up to her whining that she needed to go outside. Sadly we were up the rest of the night as she went in and out again and again with a terrible stomachache. It was a LONG NIGHT to say the least. Thankful she woke me up though or what a mess my house could have been.These treats/chews are like vegan chews for dogs. Made in the USA with decent ingredients, I didn’t anticipate any issues…but sadly I was wrong. I’m not sure what the troublesome ingredient(s) was, but I definitely won’t be purchasing again! On top of the fact that these are smaller than I’d like them to be for something marketed as a large chew. Also the price could be considered steep for a treat that lasts minutes.If you decide to go ahead and buy these treats, please just be aware of the sizing. They are definitely better suited for small to medium breed dogs in my opinion. And watch your furbaby for tummy trouble!

My picky dog approves
I ordered these because they are made in the US and are not rawhide. The ingredients are all safe, with so many concerns about meat/ animal products imported from other countries, I’ve gotten picky about what to feed my pup. As soon as I opened the package, my dog sat wagging his tail and waiting for it (so it must smell good to him) and once I gave it to him, that was the last I saw of it. He took off and enjoyed it. I can’t say exactly how long it lasted, maybe 20ish minutes, but that is about as long as any other chew of this style and size for him. He seems happy with them so 5 stars.

This comes with 2 large sticks perfect for chewing. The next morning, both of my dogs still had some left. Mind you, it was well chewed and kind of nasty (to me) but they kept going

Not a winner for treat-selective dog
I appreciate the concept of these bones. They are a good size for my large breed and have a good feel to them, but unfortunately after my dog took it from me he went and laid it on the living room rug and left it and has never gone back to it to chew on it at all (this has been a few days now). So, these were not a hit with my dog, but I will say he can be relatively treat selective because he’s spoiled rotten, so my dog’s trash may be yours’ treasure.

Good for my dogs!
I have two miniature dachshunds. These treats are probably a little too big for them, but they still enjoyed them. My one dog finished his off in a little over an hour. My second dog, who is a little smaller than the first, took his time with his and worked on it for about two days (and I think my first dog eventually finished it for him). Both dogs really enjoyed these treats, though. I appreciate the ingredients, they seem fairly priced, and they do last a while so keeps my dogs busy. I would recommend these to others.
