Product Description
A belt without a metal buckle has several advantages:
Comfort: A metal buckle can sometimes feel bulky or uncomfortable, especially when sitting or bending. A belt without a metal buckle can provide a more streamlined and comfortable fit, making it suitable for long periods of wear.
Lightweight: Metal buckles can add significant weight to a belt, which may be undesirable in certain situations. A buckle-less belt made from lightweight materials, such as fabric or nylon, can offer a more lightweight and flexible alternative.
Convenience: Some belt buckles require complex mechanisms or tools to fasten or unfasten, which can be time-consuming or inconvenient. A buckle-less belt with a hook-and-loop fastener is quicker and easier to put on and take off.
Metal-free zones: In certain environments, such as airports, courtrooms, or secure facilities, metal objects may need to be removed or are prohibited for security reasons. A belt without a metal buckle eliminates the need for belt removal in such situations, making the process more efficient and hassle-free. Allergy or sensitivity concerns: Some individuals may have allergies or sensitivities to certain metals, such as nickel, commonly found in belt buckles. A metal-free belt eliminates the risk of skin irritation or allergic reactions, providing a more comfortable option for those with sensitivities.

Perfect belt for those with a nickel metal allergy
I’ve worn this belt for months now, and it’s still in good shape. I wasn’t sure if the plastic belt would hold together long, but it did. Once mine is worn out, I will order another one.

Convenience!
This is a well made belt and gives you one less thing to worry about when having to go through any metal detectors whether it be the airport, court, etc. Be sure to choose the correct size, it’s true to the measurements that are given
Micah Embry –
Weak design.
Buckle pin broke third time I wore the belt but too late to return for refund.

Makes Security Gate Clearance A Breeze.
I work at a secure facility for incarcerated individuals. I hate undressing upon arriving at work each day. After finding the right boots to wear and getting over wearing the same boots day in and day out I just needed to address the belt issue. I bought a velcro belt that is a standby and it works fine, it takes a little getting used to – but this carbon clasp belt feels and behaves like a normal belt. It is my go-to for my day to day gate access screening. I just wish I could find one in tan. I’m going to look again after submitting this review!

Bought this for my husband who is allergic to the standard metals they use for belts
I bought this for my husband who works in the oilfield . The average metals they use for regular belts was making him break out in a rash so this belt is a great alternative. I was worried the plastic-like material used in the buckle would not hold up , but he’s had it for 3 or 4 months now and no complaints. He has not broke out in a rash either.

Buckle broke after 2 mos
Great belt for metal allergies but broke after two months

Having to take off my belt at security has always been aggravating. As a former airline crewmember, it was not an issue, but I continue to travel in retirement, and removing my belt just holds everything up (pun not intended). This belt allows me to sail through security. I have been queried once about removing the belt, but the phrase “TSA approved” seems to satisfy the security personnel. No beeping (unless I have forgotten to remove something from a pocket) and not scanning (unless I am one of the unfortunate “random” subjects). The belt is well made and the buckle is secure. It is still new but is about to undergo a very extensive journey with a multiple of international screenings. We will see how it holds up.

Material quality is too poor, it is failing already after 3 month of light use!!

Bought 2 of these and both buckles broke in short order. Great idea but not very durable

The plastic buckle sits comfortably against my waist without irritating my skin. While it is made of plastic, it seems quite sturdy.Edit: The pin of the buckle broke after 9 months of use. This belt is not as durable as I initially though.
